Hackathon judging is still done in Google Sheets in 2026

Judges fight over a shared spreadsheet. Rubrics get ignored. The winner is whoever pitches loudest. Surely there's a better way.

I've judged five hackathons this year and every single one used a janky spreadsheet. Even a basic web app with weighted rubrics, anonymous scoring, and a leaderboard would be a huge upgrade.
