How Can I Build an AI Agent System for Insurance Lead Generation & Follow-Up?
I want to use AI to create content across multiple platforms, generate new leads, connect them to WhatsApp, and manage the journey from first conversation to long-term follow-up.
I’m an insurance agent exploring how I can use AI agents to build a more scalable lead generation and client management system. The workflow I have in mind is: Content → Multiple Platforms → New Leads → WhatsApp → AI Agent → Appointment → Consistent Follow-Up → Client I want to create content across platforms such as X/Twitter, Xiaohongshu, Instagram and Facebook, ideally without needing to show my face, and use that content to generate new leads. When someone is interested, I want to connect them to my personal WhatsApp. From there, an AI agent could: - Chat with new leads and understand what they are looking for. - Collect basic information about their current situation and insurance needs. - Qualify the lead and identify what they may need help with. - Schedule a call or face-to-face appointment based on my availability. - Follow up consistently if they don’t convert immediately. - Remember previous conversations and context about each lead/client through a CRM. - Keep existing clients engaged through relevant follow-ups, birthday messages, reminders and limited-time insurance campaigns. I still want to handle the actual advice, relationship building and closing myself. The goal is for AI to handle the repetitive work around content, lead qualification, scheduling, CRM updates and follow-ups. What I’d love advice on: 1. How would you use AI to create content across multiple platforms and turn that content into new leads? 2. How would you build the AI agent + WhatsApp + CRM workflow? 3. What tools, AI agents or open-source projects would you recommend? 4. How can the AI remember each client’s history and context over the long term? 5. What should remain human-led rather than automated? 6. What blind spots, risks or problems should I think about before building this?
